About Eric

Child abuse, political corruption, and corporate greed. Those are just some of the subjects I address in my art.  I like to make sculpture about things that touch me emotionally.

I was introduced to the art world several years ago by my wife Nikole. She was taking an art class on Sunday nights at the Contempoary Art Center in Peoria, IL, and she brought me along. I knew immediately that this was right for me. It was a seemingly unlimited way to express myself in a tangible way. My only limitation would be my imagination!

Over the years I have learned to use many types of materials to construct my sculptures. I prefer steel but also work in wood, clay, fiberglass, paper, and found objects. Whatever the piece needs to tell  its story.
I share a loft studio at the CAC with my wife. I also work in my home studio.
